Cleaning for commercial premises
Tell us what kind of premises you have and what needs cleaning. Typical requests include:
- Customer areas, counters and glass doors in shops and showrooms
- Waiting rooms, toilets and staff areas in clinics and consulting rooms
- Commercial kitchens and equipment (cleaning, not food-safety compliance)
- Factory and warehouse floors, lunchrooms and amenities
- Window cleaning and carpet steam cleaning, as required
Daily, weekly, fortnightly or one-off cleaning. No locked contracts.

What helps us quote accurately
- The type of premises and approximate floor area
- Floor types (carpet, vinyl, tiles, concrete) and any areas that need special care
- Toilets, kitchens and staff rooms to be cleaned
- How often, on which days, and when the premises are empty
- Access arrangements: keys, alarm codes and a site contact
- Any requirements of your own industry or site rules we need to follow
Clinics and food businesses have their own infection-control and food-safety obligations. Tell us what your procedures require, and we will confirm whether it is within the cleaning we can quote.
Waste, parking and access in Geelong
- Waste and recycling: tell us in your quote request where bins and recycling go on your site. The City of Greater Geelong’s waste policy allows small commercial premises within its collection areas to be included in its commingled recycling and green waste collection for a fee, billed as a “commercial bin collection charge”; ask the council whether it is available for your address.
- Parking and loading: tell us where our cleaners can park and unload. Occupying a footpath, laneway or road for work, such as a work zone, needs a City of Greater Geelong Street/footpath Occupation Permit; the council asks for applications no later than 2 weeks before the occupation dates.
- Access: tell us when the premises are empty, and about alarms, keys or swipe access, so we can quote times that suit.

How often a workplace needs cleaning
WorkSafe Victoria’s compliance code Workplace facilities and the working environment (December 2023) says workplaces and facilities need to be cleaned regularly. Cleaning may be needed at each shift change or daily, but can be needed more often depending on the type or nature of the work, and the cleaning schedule needs to account for high-use areas such as dining areas, toilets, hand washing facilities and showers. Dining facilities need to be cleaned regularly, generally at least daily.
Details that help with a quote
- the type of premises and its approximate floor area;
- the number of toilets, kitchens or staff rooms and other shared areas;
- how often you want cleaning, and on which days;
- when the premises are empty, and how cleaners get in (keys, alarm codes, after-hours access);
- whether you supply consumables such as soap, paper towel and toilet paper.
