End of lease cleaning can feel overwhelming the first time, but a good checklist makes it manageable.
Work through the property one room at a time, and note the products and tools each task needs so nothing gets marked or damaged on moving day.
In living areas, dust all surfaces including light fittings, and wipe cabinet fronts and the inside of cupboards with a mild detergent, then rinse with warm water. Vacuum floors and upholstery, and steam clean carpets if needed.
In bedrooms, wipe surfaces and wardrobes with a microfibre cloth and check corners and ceiling edges for cobwebs and dust.
