Moving day in St Albans: parking, skips and unwanted furniture

St Albans is in the area of Brimbank City Council. Here’s what it publishes about moving day.

  • Brimbank doesn’t publish a moving-day parking permit.
  • A skip on a road or nature strip needs a permit applied for at least 10 days before delivery.
  • Council’s Reusable Goods Drop-off Day collects good furniture for charities, and it publishes an op shop guide.

In Victoria, it’s illegal to put e-waste in household rubbish, so take old electronics to an e-waste drop-off.
